The primary goal of the NeurIPS 2021 IGLU contest on Interactive Grounded Language Understanding in a Collaborative Environment is to tackle the problem of how to build interactive agents that learn to solve a task while provided with grounded natural language instructions in a collaborative environment.
Several current and past IRLab-ers are involved with the organization Julia Kiseleva (now at Microsoft Research), Ziming Li (now at Amazon), Mohammad Aliannejadi, Maartje ter Hoeve, and Katja Hofmann (now at Microsoft Research).
